I was big paleontology fan since my childhood, when I was impressed by some nicely illustrated books. You can find some “dinosaur-like” critters amidst my artworks, but surprisingly, they have no relation to my REAL interest in paleontology. What about scientifically-related art, I am deeply into something much more ancient, more distant… and in the same time more close, familiar to us – because it’s literally blood-related to modern us. Right before Mesozoic era of dinosaurs (or era of middle life) there was Permian period, which was the last period of Paleozoic era (era of ancient life). And while Mesozoic life is considered by many as the most impressive, Paleozoic life was the most interesting, at least in my eyes.
