Olatafk female (species concept-art).

Olatafks. They are imaginary species for my own setting in fantasy style. Not very original, truly. Generally speaking, they’re may look like redesigned unicorns with slightly modified anatomy and with several special features like telepathic and telekinetic talent, unique structure of society, ability to “fence” with horns and to change shape of horn. Olatafks have long and movable tails. Their eyes are black with luminescent iris. They are bold and with defiant temper. Also these beasts are very intellectual, being nearly at one level with human. They have simple spoken language yet for the most part, communication takes place telepathic level. As for their ration – nothing “magical” – they simply eat grass. Just grass, not rainbow or morning dew. ;)

Olatafks has more explicit sexual differentiation than horses. Male and female can be discerned pretty easily, but not from afar. Most of females (over 95%) has mohawk-shaped mane because of coarse mane hair. Also females always have a pair of hair locks on each side of the head. Goatee always absent. Eyeballs are bigger and more exposed, legs are thinner and body is heavier. Females are slightly heavier (880 kg in comparison with males) because of body fat. Hairstyle of the tail also differs. The differences are easily noticeable, but this doesn’t affect physical abilities or social role.
